Good morning, driveway daydreamers!

Potomac’s most talked-about house finally changes hands as Dan Snyder’s River Road estate moves into its next chapter. Down the road, Rockville’s Winter Jubilee turns the Civic Center Park into a kid-approved wonderland of crafts, costumes, and cardboard “gingerbread” houses Saturday. And this weekend, Maggie Rose comes home, bringing her big, soulful voice back for two nights of Christmas shows that always feel personal.

Big feelings. Big voices. Let’s loop.

Jingle & Mingle This Sunday

The door of the white barn on River Road swings open.

Someone hands you a steaming cup of something cheerful, the scent of homemade chili drifting through air that smells faintly of pine and possibility.

You wander past glittering ornaments, French-inspired trinkets, garlands that look borrowed from a tiny village square.

This Sunday all Christmas décor and ornaments are 30% off, which feels less like a discount and more like encouragement.

You came for “just a look.” You leave with Christmas. Potomac French Market.

🐾 SECOND CHANCES, SECOND HOMES

Meet Toby: The 79-Pound Snugglebug Who Just Wants A Lap

Toby has spent over a year waiting for his forever family. For a 10-year-old pup, that is a heartbreakingly long time.

He should be snoring gently on someone’s couch. Not wondering why no one picked him.

He is a big, tan-and-white Mastiff mix with an even bigger heart. This sweet senior is housetrained, sleeps through the night, and is playful in that low-maintenance, “one good walk and I’m good” kind of way. He’s good around kids, calm around other dogs, and incredibly affectionate.

Ready to meet him? Visit Montgomery County Animal Services this weekend during their “Home for the Holidays” event when they’ll even waive Toby’s adoption fee.
