📰 Your Complete Guide to Spring Rec Programs in and around Potomac

Montgomery County Recreation recently released the Spring 2026 Guide detailing their upcoming Spring season programs around the County. All 100+ pages of it.

The Loop Team pulled every single program at the three facilities closest to Potomac and organized each into its own guide so that it's easier to find great programs close to home at: the Potomac CRC on Falls Road, the Nancy H. Dacek North Potomac CRC on Travilah Road, and the Germantown Indoor Swim Center (GISC) in Boyds.

Here are some of the highlights: over 250 programs and sessions covering everything from toddler soccer and youth karate to adult pottery, pickleball clinics, volleyball leagues, and the full GISC swim lesson lineup from Water Babies through high school diving. The North Potomac Senior Center alone has dozens of free 55+ programs including tai chi, Zumba, mah jongg, and a Holi Celebration of Colors.

Registration opens Wednesday, February 18 at ActiveMontgomery.org. Popular classes fill fast. Bookmark these guides, pick your activity codes, and be ready to go.

Potomac Village’s 15-Minute Strength Studio

Most gyms ask for hours of your week. Fit Club in Potomac Village asks for about 15 minutes.

You step into a private studio and work through a circuit of slow, controlled concentric & eccentric strength movements on machines that remember exactly how you performed last time.

You’re in, you’re out, and you’re stronger without rearranging your life around a crowded gym schedule.
