Good morning, ticket hawks!
From Wolf Trap’s big-ticket drop at 10 AM to pig-powered painting, pawpaw tastings, and even a chance to clear out an animal shelter, this weekend’s shaping up like a grab bag of the wonderfully unexpected.
Potomac’s never dull. Let’s loop.
🗞️ THE LOCAL LOWDOWN

Wolf Trap Ticket Frenzy Begins Today at 10am Sharp

The Barns at Wolf Trap
We gave you the heads-up on Monday. Now it’s officially game time.
The Barns at Wolf Trap opens ticket sales for its 2025–26 season today at 10am so set your alarms.
The 382-seat venue is marking its 300th year with a lineup that mixes nostalgia, comedy, and serious talent.
Expect Natalie Merchant on November 20, The Del McCoury Band across five nights in January, and a full run from Chicago’s Second City in late February.
Things kick off October 16 with Noel Paul Stookey of Peter, Paul & Mary. Violinist Gil Shaham will headline a special concert marking the barn’s tricentennial.
And yes, if past seasons are any clue, the best seats will vanish once the PTA email chains start firing.
